There are many species and sub-species of the genus Rumex (docks and sorrels) in Cyprus.

Some can be found all over the island, others in coastal areas, others restricted to higher altitudes.

There is a large range of leaf morphology in the genus:

Rumex acetosella, Rumex bucephalophorus, Rumex conglomeratus, Rumex cristatus, Rumex cyprius, Rumex dentatus, Rumex pulcher and Rumex vesicarius
