Description

small ellipticoval-shaped, small or no point, small or no point grey-green, slightly fuzzy textured leaves, arranged in pairs opposite each other along the stem
strong aroma that is reminiscent of a combination of thyme and oregano
leaves have conspicuous dark spots
the flowers are light purple or pink

pick stems, rinse, allow to air dry and strip the leaves
use the leaves and flowers to flavour food or make tea
