Description

  • The lower leaves are lobed deeply indented margins and obovate egg-shaped, narrow at base , while the upper leaves can be lanceolate pointed at both ends or elliptic oval shaped, small or no point
  • The upper surface of the lower leaf is typically bristly with stiff, short, white hairs.
  • Small yellow flowers
  • produces slim pods of dark brown and black mustard seeds

  1. pick tender stems and leaves
  2. steam for a few minutes
  3. serve with olive oil and lemon
