Description

  • a herb with woody stems, growing up to 50cm
  • small ovateegg-shaped, narrow at base hairy to hairless leaves, with a smooth or serrulatewith fine serration margin and strong aroma when crushed

preparation

  1. pick stems with leaves and flowers
  2. tie in bunches and hang upside down to dry
  3. use fresh or dry in salads and to flavour cooked foods
